Lucy Burden
Lucy studied Drama and French at Manchester University and Acting at Central School of Speech and Drama. She worked as an actor in theatre, television and film, as a community arts practitioner, as a teacher and at BAFTA.

Lucy did an A level in Art, but until May 2018 painting was mainly a dream. However a car crash changed that. Lucy’s senses changed and everything became more intense - sounds, smells and colours. The vibrancy of the colours she could see were wonderful for painting, and painting her home in Mid Wales and the Ceredigion coast, a joy. Since 2024 Lucy has been exploring and painting the River Wye, from source to sea, and has exhibited throughout Wales and Herefordshire.
